On his tumblr, Canadian comic book artist and occasional answerer of my Scott Pilgrim-related Tweet questions, Bryan Lee O’Malley, asked people to colour Ramona Flowers for the chance to win incredible prizes, like a trip around the world or a chest of unimaginable delights! Now there are people who likely added shading, or made her using a palette of colours that haven’t even been named, but since I just spent all weekend making NES colour-perfect art I decided to low-res Ramona and coloured her only using colours from the NES colour palette. Those are genuine, Bryan Lee O’Malley. You can look them up. Is it the best colouring job out there? Well, yes. With any luck he’ll become smitten with my tumblr the way I’ve become smitten of the world he created, a hip and fun place he calls “Canada.” Go ahead and follow me, comic book artist Bryan Lee O’Malley, because I am so great. A diamond in the tumblr rough. Also, give me some prizes, please and thank you.

See how jagged her lines are? That’s called honouring your source material (which is the NES and also Scott Pilgrim, from Oni Press and now a major motion picture).
